Android 8.0 Oreo Beta v5.140 on Nokia 6: After Nokia is bought by HMD Global last year, it is getting better and better every year. The HMD Global company is releasing their latest smartphones powered by Android in Nokia series are the first smartphone manufactured by HMD Global in the name of Nokia. The company started releasing the phones serially naming Nokia 3, 5, 6 and Nokia 6 is the company’s budget-friendly flagship device. Steps to Install Android 8.0 Oreo Beta v5.140 on Nokia 6
For Bootloader locked devices
- Download the Android Oreo Beta file from above and save it on your device.
- Power off your device and boot your device into recovery mode. To do this, press and hold Volume up + Power buttons at the same time to boot into recovery mode.
- On recovery, screen click on the apply update from sd card.
- Select the zip file which you have saved on your device.
- Wait until the installation completes.
- Done!

Install ADB and Fastboot On Your Windows PC
Install Android 8.0 Oreo Beta v5.140 on Nokia 6
Step 1. Open the ADB folder and launch the Command prompt window there. (shift + right click anywhere empty space within that folder and click on open command prompt here).
Step 2. Power off your device and boot your device into bootloader mode. To do this, press and hold Volume up + Power at the same time to boot into bootloader mode.
OR
You can execute the following command to boot into fastboot mode
adb reboot bootloader
Step 3. Now connect your device to your PC via USB cable and execute the following command. (This command will confirm that your device is connected to PC)
adb devices
Step 4: Execute the following command to install Android 8.0 Oreo Beta v5.140 on Nokia 6.
adb sideload File Name.zip
Step 5: Wait until the installation completes.
Step 6: Done!
