Backup and Restore OnePlus One using EFS One-Click Tool
Required Files:
- Download ADB Installer
- Download One Click EFS Backup Tool
Steps to Create Backup EFS Partition on OnePlus One:
1:- First, download and install the ADB Installer from the above link on the PC.
2:- Enable USB debugging on the OnePlus One by navigating to Settings > About phone and hit “Build Number” for a few times (7 times) to unlock developer options. Then go to Settings > Developer options > check the USB Debugging option to enable it.
3:- Plug your OnePlus One device to the computer. Once a pop-up message is displayed on the phone then make sure that the “Always allow from this computer” option is checked. Hit OK button.
4:- Extract the one click EFS backup tool (EFS-Backup-Restore.zip) file to get a folder named EFS-Backup-Restore on the desktop of your PC.
5:- While the device is connected to the PC, double click on the BACKUP EFS.bat file to run it to back up the EFS partition on your PC automatically.
6:- Once the backup process is finished successfully, two files: modemst1.bin and modemst2.bin will be appeared in the same folder where you have the Backup EFS.bat file. Keep in mind that this folder should be saved on a safe location.
Steps to Restore OnePlus One using EFS Backup Tool:
1:- Enable USB Debugging Mode on the OnePlus One.
2:- Now, connect your OnePlus One device to the computer using its USB data cable.
3:- Go to EFS-Backup-Restore folder, you’ll see the two files, modemst1.bin and modemst2.bin in that folder.
4:- Now, run the Restore EFS.bat file and the phone’s IMEI will be restored along with EFS partition.
