In this guide we will show you how to debloat MIUI 12 and 12.5. Xiaomi is a Chinese smartphone brand that is popular all around the world. The brand is known to offer competitive smartphones and Android devices in all segments of the market and has well earned it’s name among the top smartphone OEMs across the globe.
A particular reason why many Android users prefer to use Xiaomi phones instead of devices from other brands is that Xiaomi has a great performance to price ratio for their phones. They offer great hardware at a comparatively lesser price than what other brands ask for. But Xiaomi’s Android skin, MIUI has a lot of bloatware. Here in this guide, we have shared with you the Xiaomi bloatware list and will show you how to debloat MIUI 12 and 12.5.
Like any other Android skin, MIUI also comes with a bunch of pre-loaded apps. It is now the norm for Android OEMs to include these apps in their Android skin. These apps occupy a lot of space in the device. Although some of these apps are useful according to some users, the majority of the users do not find these apps useful and want them removed from their device as they find them unnecessary.
It is possible to uninstall some of these apps but the others can’t be uninstalled in the normal way. The apps which can not be removed in the traditional can be removed through a debloating method.
As well as causing storage issues, these apps can also be a security or a privacy problem. This can become quite a nuisance. The better option in this case is to use the adb shell commands according to the app package name on a computer and remove these annoying bloatware apps. Below you can take a look at the MIUI bloatware list.
