As you would probably know, Android is an open source operating system. This means that there is plethora of customizations and modifications that you can carry out on your Android device. In this tutorial, we will be making use of a similar modification through an app on the Google Play Store. Yes, you can simply get hold of a reliable third party app from the Play Store which will offer you the iOS control center for your Android device along with all the identical features and UI that are available on an iPhone.

The problem with searching up apps on the Google Play Store is that you can never know which one is the most reliable or offers you the best features. Customizing the Control Center

First of all, you will see a green toggle button on the top of the app’s interface. You can use the button to switch on and off the iOS control center on your device. By default, it will enabled. Next, there is the Assistive Touch and Lock Screen & Notifications option. In order to customize them, you will have to install the separate Assistive touch application on your phone. Although it does add a number of great features on your phone as well, it’s download is  totally up to you. You may download it if you want or may not.

Changing the Size, Color, and Position

After that, you have the size option. Using this, you can control the position of the screen handle from which you will be able to launch the iOS control center on your device. In the screenshot below, the screen handle has been set at the right side of the screen. You can also set the height of this screen handle to your satisfaction.

Similarly, you can also adjust the color of this screen handle along with its intensity. This action can also be performed from the second and third sections named Color and Position as well. All three of these options are linked together.

Choosing Background, Music Players

The background option in the app lets you manage the background which shows behind the control center. You have a choice between selecting Transparent, Current wallpaper, default background and Screen blur behind options for your iOS control center on your Android device.

In addition to that, you can also edit the video encoder and the resolution of the video. For this, you will have to go to the Record setup screen. There, the app will ask for permission to access your phone’s storage, which you will have to grant. Furthermore, there is also the Music control center. From there, you can control and change the Music layout to your satisfaction and select your desired music player.

Adding Third-Party Apps

The iOS control center, by default contains the shortcuts for Flashlight, Clock, Calculator, Camera, Wi-Fi settings, Bluetooth settings, etc. All of these are basic settings and shortcuts that are available in every iOS control center. But here, you can customize your control center by additionally adding third party apps, removing the existing shortcuts and even changing the order of the settings and shortcuts that are already available. In order to perform these actions, head over to the Customize Controls section and over there, grant the app permission to modify system settings.

In the screenshot below, the Customize control section is shown. The control section shown below contains some third party applications in the bottom menu in the iOS control center for Android devices.

From this section, you can also carry out some other tasks. Such as removing the default apps from the control section. In order to that, you just need to press the minus button in front of the app under the Include section. If you want to add any other app, you can just click the Plus button in front of the application under the More Controls section. You are allowed to add a maximum of 8 extra apps.
