Google Chrome’s Safety Check Feature Gets New Update

Google has updated Chrome’s safety check feature, which is now much better thanks to more personal features.

As a part of their latest commitment to online safety, Google has now updated the Safety check feature. Users now get more personalized recommendations and constant reminders related to information and data you have posted and shared on various websites.

The update also brought in the option to review websites that send too many notifications to users. Apart from these new features, older features also exist, which include options to control weak passwords, dangerous extensions, safe browsing, and harmful content in files that you downloaded. 

Safety check feature

This option is available on desktop and mobile versions of Chrome. In order to access Google Chrome’s safety check, tap on the three dots icon on the top right of the interface, go to Settings and tap on Privacy and security. In this menu, there are other privacy and security features available as well.

You can follow the given step-by-step instructions which allow you to review key privacy and security controls concerning history syncing, improve your searches, block third-party cookies, and get browsing protection.

Apart from these, users also get the option to clear their browser data. This can be done by simply typing ‘clear browsing data’ in the address bar. Also, Google has now added the option to lock incognito sessions on your device, which can later be accessed by biometric authentication.
