How to Enable 5G on OnePlus Devices:

Method 1: From the Settings App
The easiest way to enable 5G on OnePlus devices is by using the Settings app. Follow the given steps:
- Open the Settings app on your device.
- Head over to Sim & Network Settings.
- Select your SIM and tap on Preferred network type.
- Select the option with 5G (2G/3G/4G/5G(Automatic)).
- Now you can use 5G on your OnePlus device.
Method 2: Using the Phone Dialer
This is the less preferred method that is used to enable 5G on OnePlus devices. If you want to try it, you can do so by following the steps given below:
- Open the Phone application on your OnePlus devices and dial the following code: *#*#4636#*#*
- Now you will be able to see a pop-up containing phone information.
- Now tap on “Set Preferred Network Type”.
- Now from the list of options, select “ NR ONLY” or the “NR/LTE” option.
This will allow you to use 5G on your OnePlus smartphone. You should know that the NR Only option means that your device will only use the 5G bands for internet connection and you will not switch to 4G. But this means that if you go to an area where 5G is not available, you will not get any network coverage.
On the other hand, the NR LTE option will use both the 5G and 4G bands to provide good, uninterrupted internet coverage. When you are in an area where 5G is not available, your device will use the 4G bands.
