Pre-Requirements:

Install Android 6.0 MRA58N on Nexus 6 Using Official Factory Image
Step No 1:– First, download Android 6.0 Factory Image (shamu-mra58n-factory-bffc99bb.tgz) on the desktop of your PC for Nexus 6.
2:- Connect the phone with PC using its USB data cable.
3:- Turn OFF your Nexus 6 in order to boot into Fastboot/Bootloader Mode.
4:- Now, turn ON the device while pressing and holding the Volume Up + Volume Down + Power buttons at the same time till the Fastboot menu appears.
5:- Extract the downloaded Android 6.0 Marshmallow Official Factory Image file on the desktop of your PC.
6:- Navigate to the folder shamu-MRA58N and copy/paste all the files to your Fastboot directory.
Note: The Fastboot directory will be the platform-tools folder in Android SDK directory.
7:- Run the Flash file from the factory image files in Fastboot directory:
- On Windows: Run the file “flash-all.bat”.
- On Mac: Run the file “flash-all.sh” using Terminal.
- On Linux: Run the file “flash-all.sh”.
8:- Wait for the flashing process to be finished successfully.
9:- Once the installation is finished, your Nexus 6 will boot and it might take about 4 to 5 minutes to boot for the first time.
