- Create a proper backup of all your important data and settings before proceeding to the installation guide using a recommended custom recovery like TWRP or CWM.
- Download and install LG G3 LS 990 USB Drivers on the PC from the following links.
- Enable USB Debugging on the LG G3 on the PC by navigating to Settings > Developer Options > check USB Debugging option.
- The LG G3 should be rooted with the latest version of custom recovery installed.
- The bootloader of your G3 should be unlocked.
- Check the battery level of your device, it should be charged at least about 80% to prevent unexpected shutdowns while installing the firmware.

Steps to Install Android 5.1.1 Lollipop on Sprint LG G3 LS 990 via XenonHD ROM:
1:- First, download the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop XenonHD ROM (update-XenonHD-07-10-15-signed-ls990.zip) and Google Apps on the desktop of your PC.
2:- Connect your LG G3 to the PC via its USB data cable.
3:- Transfer the downloaded firmware and Gapps .zip files to the the root folder of the SD card of your phone.
4:- Disconnect the Sprint G3 from the PC and turn it OFF in order to boot into Recovery Mode.
5:- Turn ON the LG G3 while pressing and holding Volume Down + Power keys at the same time for a while until the LG logo appears, then release the buttons then press them again. Again press Power key 3 times to boot into recovery mode.
6:- While your LG G3 is in CWM recovery, select Wipe Data/Factory Reset to perform a full data wipe, perform Wipe Cache Partition and Wipe Dalvik Cache from Advanced > Wipe Dalvik Cache.
7:- Go back to the main recovery menu and select Install Zip from SD card > Choose Zip from SD card.
8:- Locate the Android 5.1.1 XenonHD ROM zipped file which you have already transferred to the root folder of the SD Card in Step No 3. Select it by Power button and confirm the ROM installation process to initiate.
9:- Install Google Apps (Gapps) package by repeating the same procedure as given above.
10:- After the installation finished, navigate to “+++++Go Back+++++” and from the Recovery Menu, select Reboot System Now.
Your LG G3 D855 will now be rebooted and it may take about 4 to 5 minutes while booting up after installing ROM and Google Apps.
