These instructions are on how to root Samsung Galaxy Note 7 running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow official firmware. Once the rooting process is completed, you will be able to access all the root apps available on the Play Store and third-party apps as well. All you need to have the latest version of a custom recovery like TWRP already installed on you Note 7. If the custom recovery is not installed then first install the TWRP recovery and then flash the SuperSU package.

Pre-Requirements:
- Take a proper backup of all your important data like SMS, MMS, Settings, Contents, Contacts and Call Logs etc before proceeding to the installation guide.
- Download and install the Samsung USB Drivers on your PC for your Galaxy Note 7.
- Enable USB Debugging Mode by navigating to Settings > Developer Options.
- Custom recovery like TWRP should be already installed.
- The bootloader of your phone should be unlocked.
- The battery level of your Galaxy Note 7 should be charged at least about 70% to avoid unexpected shutdowns.

- Download SuperSU Root (BETA-SuperSU-v2.77-20160827190633.zip)
Steps to Root Samsung Galaxy Note 7 using SuperSU on Android 6.0 Marshmallow:
1:- Download SuperSU Root (BETA-SuperSU-v2.77-20160827190633.zip) on the desktop of your PC for Samsung Galaxy Note 7.
2:- Now, plug Galaxy Note 7 to PC using the USB data cable.
3:- Transfer the downloaded BETA-SuperSU-v2.77-20160827190633.zip file to the root folder of your SD card.
4:- Power OFF the phone in order to boot into Recovery Mode and disconnect from the USB cable.
5:- Turn ON the Galaxy Note 7 by pressing and holding Volume Up + Power + Home buttons at the same time.
6:- While your Note 7 is in Recovery Mode, navigate to “flash zip from SD card” -> “choose zip from sdcard”.
7:- Navigate to the BETA-SuperSU-v2.77-20160827190633.zip file using your volume keys, that you have already transferred your SD card. Select it using the Power button and confirm the installation process to begin on the next screen.
8:- Once the installation is completed, go back to the main menu of recovery and reboot it by selecting “reboot system now“.
