This will be done through a dropdown toggle, allowing users to choose whether to record audio and show where they touch their screens. When you select the “Record a single app” option, you will be presented with an interface where you must select the app you want to record. You will be able to see thumbnails, showing you a preview of what your recording will look like. Swiping up on the app selector screen will reveal a more extensive section where there will be more apps you can record. According to the tech journalist, screencasting could be done on the companion app streaming feature, which was introduced by Google last year. This feature allows users to share their screens from their Android 13 phones to other compatible devices, such as a Chromebook.
